This year the HORSE FAIR will offer:
Clinicians, Dressage Demo, Vendors, Show Me Barn, Breed Barn and Breed Parades, Trail Obstacle Challenge, Lectures, Photo Contest, Membership booth, and More!

BREED BARN & BREED PARADE – NEW FORMAT!
The Parade of Breeds will be showcased in the Garrett Coliseum Main Arena during each day’s events on Saturday, March 4 and Sunday, March 5. All Breed participants will be exhibited in the Breed Barns from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday March 4, and from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday March 5. This is an ideal promotional opportunity for stallion owners, breeding farms, training facilities and horse associations. The Parade of Breeds and Breed Barn exhibit will provide you with opportunities to network with other owners, trainers and facility managers about services offered, horses for sale or horses wanted.

Booths manned by Veterinarians and Farriers from all over Alabama that are volunteering their time for YOU. They are there to answer your questions and concerns regarding anything you want to discuss about your horses care..hoof care, laminitis and treatments, feed recommendations, vaccinations and worming schedule, colic, home first aid for horses, types of corrective shoeing, Coggins testing, skin diseases and how to treat…..ANYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW.

ALABAMA HORSE COUNCIL MEMBERSHIP BOOTH
Our booth set up for YOU to come see what the Horse Council does for the YOU and the equine industry in Alabama. At the AHC booth you can purchase raffle tickets, join or renew your membership, learn about NEW BENEFITS, learn about our newsletters, learn about our activity with riding trails in Alabama, learn about our County Representative system, learn how to be an AHC volunteer at the Horse Fair and other AHC Events, learn about our role in legislation that affects the horse industry in Alabama, learn about the AHC Board of Directors, and more. SILENT AUCTION AT THE HORSE FAIR
We will once again hold our Annual Silent Auction at the Fair. The auction will be on Saturday, March 4, 2017. Auction items to be set up in the front lobby and/or main North entrance to the Garrett Coliseum. This booth is manned and handled in Partnership with the Auburn University Equestrian Club. Proceeds to benefit this partnership’s education departments.

EDUCATIONAL LECTURE SERIES
AHC is excited to bring back the classroom lecture series on Saturday and Sunday at the Horse Fair.

Each year the AHC spotlights randomly chosen breeds in the coliseum on both days of the Horse Fair.
